A self motivated, great communicator and team player who is capable of using their initiative is needed to work in our busy and committed Donor Services Department. You will have the opportunity to make a highly valued and significant contribution to the delivery of a responsive, effective and accountable service to our donors and supporters to embrace them as part of our Samaritan’s Purse and Billy Graham Evangelistic Association teams, building loyalty to our cause. We aim to deliver excellent service levels to both our SP and BGEA donors, both active and prospective, and churches and volunteers.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, efficient administration of donations and be able to maintain accurate database records to ensure excellent levels of supporter care to build strong and loyal relationships. So experience of using databases would be beneficial, and use of Excel and Word to intermediate level and above is essential.
The role will also deliver proactive outbound communications, primarily by telephone to build further engagement.
You will be the first line of response to supporter queries and a proactive canvasser to potential new supporters. There is therefore the need to have experience in call handling, with a confident and engaging professional telephone manner. The ability to address a wide range of sometimes complex issues, discuss spiritual and denominational matters and willingness to actively pray over the phone is essential. The desire to engage in continuous growth and development as encouraged and supported by the team Manager, and a heart to serve each ministry to the best of your ability is equally important.
Due to the nature and/or context of this post the successful candidate will need to be a committed Christian able to fully commit to our Statement of Faith.
