Samaritan’s Purse is recruiting a new team in the West Midlands to run the logistics and operations of collecting, processing and exporting all Operation Christmas Child (OCC) shoebox gifts donated annually in the UK.
A conscientious and personable coordinator is needed for key administrative responsibilities as part of the team running a safe, efficient and cost effective logistics operation to resource, receive and process OCC shoebox gifts through the UK network of processing centres.
You will enjoy relating to and equipping a wide range of volunteers and supporters and delight in serving them well. You will be confident to take initiative with people and projects and have strong organisational and administrative skills (especially using Excel spreadsheets) and attention to detail. You will have proven operational management and administrative experience in work, church or personal contexts and be educated to A levels or equivalent. You will enthusiastically support the Christian purposes of OCC and Samaritan’s Purse.
This work will make a vital contribution towards accomplishing OCC’s mission to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to needy children around the world and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
