Operation Christmas Child UK (OCC) is implementing a strategic volunteer ministry, investing in teams of volunteers who will multiply themselves and hugely extend the reach of OCC’s mission.
A resourceful and energetic coordinator is needed to provide Project and Event Management and Administration to support all aspects of developing this volunteer ministry. This includes working with the Volunteer Relations Manager to develop strategies and processes for volunteer recruitment, selection, training and coaching. You will also create programme materials, plan volunteer conferences and international vision trips and coordinate communication and other promotional initiatives.
You will enjoy relating to and envisioning a wide range of volunteers. You will be confident to take initiative with people and projects and have strong administrative skills and attention to detail. You will enthusiastically support the Christian purposes of OCC and Samaritan’s Purse and be committed to the value of well-equipped volunteers and to developing them further. Candidates will have proven project management and administrative experience in the workplace and be educated to A levels, or ideally to Degree level.
Due to the nature and context of this post the successful candidate will need to be a committed Christian, able to fully commit to our Statement of Faith.
