THE IMPORTANCE OF PRAYER

 PRAYER POINTS

  • Give thanks for each and every shoebox gift packed in 2020 and pray for the children who received them –  that they may know God’s comfort and protection at this time.
  • Give thanks for so many wonderful project leaders all over the UK who facilitated their church, school, workplace or community group getting involved with Operation Christmas Child this year.
  • Give thanks for everyone who acted as Drop-off Locations and Church Collection Centres this year.

UK STAFF & VOLUNTEERS

  • Please pray for Operation Christmas Child volunteers and staff, that we would be of one vision and that we would give God the glory for all that we do in and through the ministry of Operation Christmas Child.
  • Pray that volunteer teams will grow in relationship with one another and that there will be a spirit of unity across all teams.
  • Pray that God will rise up new men and women keen to serve Him and further His kingdom through the ministry of Operation Christmas Child and The Greatest Journey.

OUR GLOBAL OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD FAMILY

  • Pray for the staff and volunteer teams in each Operation Christmas Child sending country: US, Canada, Germany, Australia & New Zealand, Finland, Faroe Islands, Japan and Spain.
  • Pray for Operation Christmas Child and The Greatest Journey volunteer teams and ministry partners in over 100 countries worldwide! Pray for wisdom and protection during this difficult time.
  • Praise God for over one million teachers trained to deliver The Greatest Journey since the programme began.
  • Give thanks for the 23 million children that have taken part in The Greatest Journey follow-up bible discovery programme since 2009.
